Dry Pressing
The essential characteristics of the hydraulic press are:
1. Evenly distributed pressing force;
2. Absolute repeatability of pressing cycle over time.
The above characteristics make hydraulic presses especially suitable for use in highly automated production plants. The dry pressing machine consists of press, dies, die cavity loading devices, powder removal devices, and filter box feeder devices or Floating Gratings supported by die box. Few types of tile forming dies are Entering Punch Die, Mirror Die, Upper Forming Die and isostatic Dies of which the Entering Punch Die is the most widely used one. The ceramic press units should be reliable, provide good output and has to be versatile. The press has to be fully automated and flexible in usage. The press should save maximum energy and should be precise in operation at every stage of the cycle.
