Than Ball Clay: Gujarat
The ball clay available at Thangadh, Gujarat State in India is of High Plastic and Carbonaceous type. The crude clay contains lot of free silica and lignite particles as impurities. The clay physical colour varies from grayish black to jet black in colour. The clay bed available after the over burden is of normally grayish black in colour and the clay available is deeper area is normally jet black in colour.
