Lead Titanate Powder Preparation
Hydro thermal Method: In this method oxides or hydrous oxides obtained from nitrates, acetates, chlorides, per chlorates or alkoxides may be used as sources of led and titanium. The hydro thermal reaction happening in the temperature range of about 200 to 300.C is very important in this method.
The reaction is done in a stainless steel auto clave at a pressure of 1.75 to 9.48 MPa. Lead titanate powder formed in the auto clave is washed with ammonia water and dried in a dryer. The powder formed is of very high pure in nature and the particle size below submicron size.
