- The slurry holding tank is jacketed for cooling or heating and acts as a heat sink.
- The continuous pumping and movement of the slurry through the grinding chamber is very quick and is staying time is very low and chances of getting heated is very low.
The above reasons are very important when we go for special type plastic or rubber lining for metal contamination free processing. The circulation attritor has been used successfully in a number of applications and for grinding alumina powder this is most preferred system.
Whenever necessary the media can be rinsed with water and discharged separately through an opening at the bottom of the tank and the shaft can be easily disconnected and the tank also can be tilted or rotated for making the operation more user friendly.
