Dry Milling Process : The dry grinding process can be performed with continuous grinding method also. Whenever the following manufacturing conditions are required continuous grinding is adopted.
- Large production volume is involved.
- Material is temperature sensitive.
- Material has a tendency to cake.
- When the process requires a stable condition inside the mill.
- To precisely control the retention time in the mill.
Special accessories are used to control the above requirements. An accurate feeding system, a special shaft and arm configuration with diverted disc, specially designed metering discharge, and a torque sensor fixed to the rotating shaft etc helps to achieve the desired particle size and shape with
very tight quality control specification.
