In the conventional particle size reduction process Ball Mill is the common equipment worldwide used. Ball Mill can be used for size reduction to certain level of fineness. This can be either Dry Milling or Wet Milling. Dry Milling can be Batch type or Continuous type.
In Batch type Dry Grinding Process the material to be ground is milled for certain specific times to attain the possible fineness and got unloaded and passed through a screen to remove over size material. However the productivity volume is very much limited in the Batch Dry grinding process.
In Continuous type Dry Grinding Process material to be ground is continuously fed in to the Ball Mill and the ground out put continuously taking out and by using Air Cyclone Classifiers the fine material and coarse materials are separated.
