Mould:
Next to Body and Glaze, Mould is the other important input for making sanitaryware. The following are the main raw materials used in preparing the mould:
- Alpha Plaster
- Beta Plaster
- Resin
- Rubber
- Porous Resin
- Releasing Agents like Soap, Kerosene and low fat oils.
For making the block, alpha plaster, resin and rubber are used. For making conventional working moulds beta plaster is used, whereas for pressure casting moulds, porous resin is used.
For easy releasing, releasing agents like liquid soap, kerosene and low fat oils are used.
