In India there is a steep rise in land prices and the land value is going up day by day to unimaginable levels. This has placed tremondous pressure on both Clay mine owners and Ceramic manufacturing industries. Unless there is good value addition for Clay, it is not viable for the clay mine owners to run their business. Most of the ceramic manufacturing industries are also keen to dispense away internal Ball clay processing and blending processes.
The boom in all the other industries and also high education standards in India has drastically affected labour availability. All these changes in the last two to three years has left the Indian Industries facing severe labour availability problems. In the forthcoming years, this situation is going to become severe and this will hit all the Ceramic Industries in India very badly.
